Standard stainless steels include 17-4 PH and 316L; more exotic materials include 316L VAR, Inconel 718, Grade 4 Titanium, and Hastelloy C276. The strain gages used by WHsensors with its one-piece construction produce enough raw output signal, that the sensor can be designed with higher proof and burst pressure ratings.
In certain custom applications, only a diaphragm and strain gages are required, with the sensor being embedded into medical devices or custom pressure or flow controls. WHsensors can machine the sensor as a drop-in component for a variety of applications. Sensors can be designed with a variety of China and international threads, weld rings, and O-ring seals to assist designers with the best fit, form and function.
